Draw an orange in just 6 easy steps! The orange is one of the world’s most popular and recognizable fruits. It’s easy to see why because it’s the perfect snack to enjoy on a hot summer day with its juiciness and citrus flavor. You may also learn many things cartoon drawing, scary drawing, pencil drawing, cool things to draw, scary drawing, drawing of sunflower creative drawing, and flower drawing.

It’s even the state fruit of Florida, which gives it even more notoriety! With the simple structure of the orange, it would be a piece of cake to learn how to draw an orange. However, when you start adding variants, making a guide like this is helpful when drawing can get tricky. We hope you have a lot of pleasure working through this step-by-step guide on drawing an orange!

How to draw an orange – Allow’s reach formed!

Stage 1

For this first step in our guide on how to draw an orange, we’ll start with the stem and leaf of the fruit. The blade is drawn with a few curved lines that meet at a point at the end. You can then add a line down the middle for the leaf’s midrib. You can then draw a small rounded rectangular shape for the stem of the orange. Ultimately, you can utilize a wide line attaching the leaf to the branch to achieve this stage.

Step 2: Outline the orange below

Now that you have the leaf and stem of the orange, you can begin to outline the fruit body for this part of your orange drawing. It might be tempting to draw a perfect circle, but we won’t because we’ll have more orange slices in front of it later in the guide. Just draw a curved line under the stem and leaf, as if drawing a complete circle. By now, it should look like a half circle at the angle we show in the reference image.

Step 3: Currently remove the methods of the other orange portions.

This is because we will fill in the space left in the outline of the full orange. First, draw what will look like a crescent shape for one segment of the orange. You can then draw a rounded shape with a slightly flat top, so it doesn’t form a perfect circle.

Step 4: Following, remove the skins of the orange portions.

The next parts of your orange drawing will be adding some final details to complete it. This part should be simple to do, as all you need is to add curved lines for the peels of the orange slices. For the crescent cut you’re drawing, you can add two nicely rounded lines along the perimeter of the edge. Then for the orange half on the right, you can add another line a little above the bottom line of the outline. If this sounds confusing, it should be clear once you check the reference image.

Step 5: Now, you can finish the details inside the orange.

For the little orange segment, you can start by drawing what looks like a starting shape on the center edge. Then extend a line from each point of this star shape into the orange of different lengths. The details of the better half will be a bit trickier, but once you get the hang of it, it should be easy! To start, draw another star shape in the center of the orange. There will be a small gap on the sideline of each triangle shape, and they will also extend inwards to line up with the central star shape you drew. If you get lost, check the reference image carefully for help!

Step 6: Finish your orange drawing with some color

Now that you’ve finished the final details, it’s time to add some amazing colors to your orange design. You may know what the main color of this design is because it’s in your name! If you want to keep this image more realistic, you’ll use a lot of oranges when coloring.

Even if you stick to this color palette, there are plenty of ways to incorporate color variations! You can replicate what we did in the reference image using various shades of orange. You can incorporate some of your favorite colors if you want a more stylistic image. We can’t pause to witness what you’ll accomplish! Here’s how you can make your orange design even better. Make that orange sketch even juicier with these tips we have for you!
