No Need to Worry About that Ice Cream!
“Gisele is disciplined about what she eats,” says Hartwig, who helped to create the model’s meal plan. “She doesn’t eat ice cream. She has fruit and nuts as snacks, and her meals are always based on vegetables, fish, or meat.”
So how do you emulate a diet that’s so different from the one you might be used to? Start by making sure you’re getting plenty of whole grains (think brown rice, quinoa), which contain lots of fiber and nutrients that promote digestive health. And don’t forget about protein: It not only helps keep you fuller longer but also provides energy!
Take a Deep Breath
When you are feeling stressed, take a deep breath.
It’s easy to forget about this simple concept when it comes to our health and wellness, but breathing is important for so many reasons:
- It helps us relax during stressful situations (like trying on a new pair of jeans).
- It helps us center ourselves when we’re feeling overwhelmed by our busy schedules (like trying to find time in between meetings for lunch).
- It can help oxygenate muscles that are tight or tense (like after sitting at your desk all day).
- It sends oxygen directly to the brain, which makes it easier for you to concentrate on tasks at hand even if they involve putting together Ikea furniture with no instructions!

She Loves Being in the Buff
In an interview with Net-a-Porter’s The Edit magazine, the supermodel said she loves being naked because it feels good to be free like that. She also recommends not thinking about what other people may think if you’re in your birthday suit:
“It’s liberating and freeing to be naked,” she explained. “And we can all feel a lot better about ourselves when we’re naked because we are all human beings who have the same organs.”
The model also shared her thoughts on how society views nudity as something sexual:
“I think for centuries people have put so much negative energy into sexuality and our bodies and it’s such a shame!”
Her Workout Requires Some Chutzpah
If you want to work out like Gisele, you’re going to need a trainer or personal trainer. And not just any kind of personal trainer a person who is willing to get up at 5:00 AM and do some serious, intense workouts with you. This can be done in the gym or at home (and probably because of her schedule and location, Gisele works out mainly at home).
She’s a Yogi
First, yoga is great for the body and the mind. It helps to improve flexibility and strength, balance, endurance, concentration, posture, and body awareness. It also improves breathing.
Last year Gisele told InStyle magazine: “I always have a hard time doing downward dog! I need more time in bed to do it properly I don’t have time in my life right now! But I love that it’s so good for your back because I do so many photos shoots where you’re sitting or lying down all day long.”
She Rarely Eats Gluten
In the film, we see Gisele take a break from her rigorous workout routine to enjoy some quinoa and rice. She avoids gluten, which is found in bread, pasta, and baked goods. “She eats a lot of vegetables,” says Rennard. “She also doesn’t eat meat.”
Gisele typically eats a whole grain like quinoa or brown rice with veggies and fruit as part of her daily diet. She also enjoys fish on occasion, but she’s not a big fan of red meat due to its high-fat content (which can lead to weight gain).
The supermodel loves nuts especially almonds and snacks on them throughout the day when she’s hungry between meals instead of eating junk food or sweets made with refined sugars that will make you gain weight fast!
Forget Hot Yoga
In case you’re not familiar with hot yoga, it’s a form of exercise that combines elements of traditional yoga with the heat of a sauna or steam room. It’s a great workout for people who are already in shape and know how to do conventional yoga poses but don’t need the extra challenge that a regular class provides. However, if you’re not already in good shape and/or not used to working out at all, hot yoga may be too much for you right now.
The temperature inside some studios is up to around 100 degrees Fahrenheit that’s as hot as a tropical rainforest! Because such high temperatures increase blood flow throughout the body (including through your muscles), they can help improve circulation and make your muscles more flexible when done correctly under proper supervision. But if you’re just starting on your fitness journey or aren’t used to exercising at all yet this might be too much too soon.

She’s a Morning Person
Gisele wakes up at 4:30 am and does her first workout of the day at 5 am. She eats breakfast at 6 am, then heads to bed by 10 pm. Gisele sleeps for 8 hours per night, which means she gets roughly 7 hours of sleep each night (the recommended amount is 7-9 hours).
She Doesn’t Drink Coffee
Gisele doesn’t drink coffee. She drinks tea instead because it’s full of antioxidants that help you fight off free radicals. She also drinks water and coconut water to stay hydrated and healthy.
She eats a lot of veggies, like kale and spinach they’re good sources of vitamins A, C, and K as well as potassium and iron. You’ll find these nutrients in other foods too: avocados are rich in vitamin E; sweet potatoes contain plenty of beta carotene (vitamin A); oranges are packed with vitamin C; bananas have loads of potassium; broccoli contains calcium; bell peppers have vitamin C; tomatoes provide lycopene which helps prevent prostate cancer; carrots contain beta carotene (vitamin A).
Fruits like apples contain lots of fiber while bananas provide potassium which helps lower blood pressure levels for better heart health plus they contain magnesium which helps regulate blood sugar levels so everyone can feel more energized throughout the day!
A Day Without Water
Let’s talk about the benefits of water.
Water is essential for all bodily functions, including maintaining healthy skin, teeth, and organs. It also helps maintain a healthy weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels.
As water is vital to our bodies’ health, Gisele has been drinking 6 to 8 cups of water every day since she was 13 years old!
She’s a Pretty Good Cook
The supermodel has been spotted in the kitchen on several occasions, and it turns out she’s pretty good at cooking!
“I like to try new things,” Gisele told Daily Mail. “Rice, vegetables, fruit, and chicken.”
She also enjoys going out to eat with her family. “We love sushi,” she said. And although they don’t have a go-to restaurant, they enjoy trying new places together wherever they are in the world.

The Beauty of Facial Oils
Facial oils are a great way to hydrate your skin, no matter what kind of skin you have. Some facial oils can even be used to treat acne, wrinkles, and dry skin. Facial oils are especially helpful for oily or combination skin types because they balance out the production of sebum in the pores.
Here are three of Gisele’s favorite facial oils that she uses every day:
Gisele’s Athletic Body is no Accident!
- Gisele’s athletic body is no accident.
- She works hard at it and is disciplined, focused, dedicated, and committed to her goals.
- She exercises regularly with a trainer three times a week in New York City or on the beach in Brazil.
- She meditates for 20 minutes each day and does yoga for an hour when she can fit it into her schedule.
- Gisele says that she doesn’t eat red meat or dairy products because they’re both acidifying foods (that means they’ll make your body more acidic). Acidic bodies are not healthy bodies!
